JSF5: 4

Jurassic Strike Force 5 issue 4 is from Silver Dragon Books. Zenescope’s imprint for all ages comic books and they work closely with Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.

I’m a bit skeptical when it comes to movies, cartoon or comics where the main characters are evolved dinosaurs. But I must say graphically the comic is A-Okay.

The story:
Tyler is inside the Reptilian Base to try, to save his dad and the Strike Force who all has been captured by the Reptilians. Meanwhile Rex has a dialogue with the overlord Zalex, where the evil nemesis says that Rex soon will be one of them, when his Genetic Altering Serum is completed. Rex, the hero that he is, of course denies this as his goal is to (of course) defeat Zalex and his loyal subjects.

Story-wise; Jurassic Strike Force represents some things what stands for the ‘80’s cartoons. For me it all sounds familiar, but just like the ‘80’s cartoon Dino Riders, I’m not so excited about this comic.
