The main character through out this book is a man chosen by Yahweh. He is granted divine powers to battle and face the forces of The Prince of Heaven, Satan. At the beginning you only get snippets of information and have to rely on faith that all will be reveled.
With everything that goes on in the book the baseline is, faith can get you through. David Deines has come up with a likeable alternative in the theory of Vampires. He offers characters that eat, breath, and sleep. While falling in love and having a growing family. His take on the eternal battle for your immortal soul is unique. Do vampires walk among us and function in everyday? Can they have children? What happens if they do? Is there an elite group of people chosen to fight vampires and werewolves?
Eric has been chosen for what he doesn’t know. But he has trained at the men’s club. Going to the shooting range, he has become proficient at shooting and become stronger. He never thought that standing up to a bully in halls of his High School would start a chain reaction of events that would forever change his world. Now he hunts down the Blessed Ones of Satan’s while gaining more power and abilities along the way.
