This week I had the pleasure of reviewing Myths and Legends. This is an ongoing title from Zenscope entertainment.
As many of you know, I’m not a huge fan of just jumping in to the middle of the story, especially if there is no previously in page. The story is pretty good. I kind of got what was going on. The writing was well done and the people that Zenescope seem to know what they are doing comics wise and that is really great.
The art work was pretty amazing. I’m a huge fan beautiful artwork, and the art work kind of reminded me of Leniel Yu.
What didn’t work for me is that, I’m not into fantasy, all that much. I mean I like Lord of the Rings, and Narnia, but other than that, I just don’t like picking up these titles. However, I might pick up another Zenescope title because of how well this one was put together. The story itself kind of felt like an episode of “Grimm” or “Once Upon A Time”. So if you’re a fan of those shows, pick up the trade of this story arc.
I give the book a 4 out of 5.
