Can you say out of the Up-and-Coming Closet and into the Mainstream? That is what you get with
Burnseason. Their self titled debut album gives you intense in-your-face, take-us-as-we-are lyrics that leaves you begging for more.

From  the defiant first track “Revolution” to the heartrending lyrics of the last track “Closer” Damien Starkey pulls you into the vortex of this album with his powerful vocals. The strong guitar riffs of Kevin Renwick and Adam Silk bring a progressive sound to each song, as Bobby Amaru’s back-up vocals and drums round out the vitalizing forces of this quad.

This album covers all the bases, from relationship angst in “Perfect”, “Sleepless”, and “Ending”, therapy of “Carry On”,
and “Walk Away”, defiance of “Revolution”, and “Addicted”, and loss of yourself in “Falling”, “Mistakes” and “Save Me”.

If you like Hard Rock you will want to get lost in this album over and over. As soon as I put the CD
in I knew Burn Season would leave me wanting more. In search of the more I found new songs that they update weekly on their MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/burnseason. Needless to say I was not let down and  now we anxiously await their next album.
