The team of Graham, Roy and Ballerman returns in the science fiction Prophet from Image Comics. In Issue 23 John Prophet finally arrives at the Towers of Thauili Van. We find him climbing a mountain to succeed in his mission because atop lies the G.O.D. satellite. But during his climb he has to deal with earth’s atmosphere, several creatures and while resting he sees alien races all working together. Prophet knows that there lies no empathy or feeling of mercy toward another being because of the crystallized brain of the blessed. Like a herd they are lured into a sort of portal that channels electric air. Teleporting those up, Prophet decides to follow them and at the other side he fights his way through the creatures that controls the device. Meanwhile, Prophet is being hunted by the Xilix-Guin Blade. When the conclusion comes closer, it raises all sorts of questions and I personally can’t wait for the next issue.
