Review of Armageddon by Convalescents
So lately I have been listening to a lot of my old favorites and it while that is great for time it always make me a little hungry for a great new band that I never heard of before and the debut album Armageddon by Convalescents hit the spot perfectly. They have created an album that is one part pop with two parts punk for a great sound that wakes up the senses and gets your head thinking. The music is very reminiscent of early Green Day without coming off as a copy and they really shine on tracks like she’s a gun and the title track Armageddon. This may be their debut release but I know it won’t be their last. You should track down a copy and keep an eye out to catch one of their shows.
