I have to say I’m not a Goon reader, and I mostly pass it up on the shelf when I’m at my store.  I just didn’t think it would appeal to me, even I though I have a good taste for originality.  I’m a guy who can admit when I am wrong about something and after looking at this preview I admit two things.  One, The Goon can be a book I can relate to and  make a regular for me and two..this has to be the funniest few pages of a comic I’ve ever read, period.

I give Eric Powell credit, he had me laughing at the cover itself but how creative he’d gotten about the book was funny.  All I can say is, well done Mr. Powell.
