past projects  2009 Demons,Gods & Kings (Demo)
current project currently working on our 1st full length album

How did you get your start in music?
Niall, David, Chris and Eanan played in local Hard Rock band GURT with Graham Carton on vocals. for a couple of years and gradually moved in a faster more melodic direction musically, when david switched over to keyboards and we met john we formed Crystal Snowstorm and instantly began writing songs. after quite a few gigs around Ireland with niall on vocals, Colin Callanan (Dark Crystal/Karuna) took over vocal duties and we soon recorded our current demo Demons, Gods & Kings.
we are currently writing new material for our first full length album.

who are your biggest musical influences
we actually have very diverse influences ranging from extreme Death metal to power metal.
Symphony x,Helloween,Fairyland,Freedom call,Dream theater, FearFactory,Decapitated,Devin Townsend,SYL etc.

What is your biggest inspiration when creating music?
generally one person will write the main bones of the song and then we'll all get together and jam out the transitions. we always try to do something different and always try to better ourselves. we like to work with the rule that "no note should live alone" and we concentrate a lot on working out amazing harmonies to go along with riffs.

Could you give us the details of your current project.  we are working on the last few songs for our first album. we have about 10 songs ready to go and many more already prepared for a second album. we're hoping to record early next year with Fabio (Fairyland/Pathosray) at his "Artisonica" Studio in Italy.

What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your music? Getting the album recorded is our next big goal. then we would like to get as many gigs in as many places as possible.

When the zombies take over the world where will you be?  When Zombies Take over the world? depends entirely upon what type of zombies.

Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?
i'd probably go for pirates tho, they have guns and to the best of my extensive zombie knowledge, Zombies cant swim. and of course we can just blow their heads off with Death Solo's.

What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture, do you think people must experience before they die?
thats completely individual, what I find artistic others may find completely useless.
but I guess everyone should get a rocket into outer space to see earth from our own orbit. that's got to be the best thing any human can experience.

Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?
what's unbelievable about 6 guys from Ireland playing power metal?
