Interview questions
-------------------

Q: How did you get your start in music?
A: We all started young, around 13-14 years old, playing small live concerts and approaching the first music experiences. We started the project Forgotten Tears in 2004: it was me (Faust, singer) and Matteo (drums). Like every band we came through the classic line up change, until we found the stable perfect line up in early 2008 (our current line up).

Q: Who are your biggest musical influences?

A: We use to get inspired by our favourite bands, and our favourite bands change pretty every month. Currently we love to play something between the european death metal and the american hardcore. Few examples would be Unearth, Darkest Hour, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God, Soilwork, In Flames, At The Gates and some more "hardcore-oriented" stuff such as Walls Of Jericho, Hatebreed, Comeback Kid and Sick Of It All.

Q: What is your biggest inspiration when creating music?
A: The writing process isn't so explicable. Suddenly a guitar riff comes in our minds and we record it, later in the rehearsal room we try to get a song out of this starting riff idea. The inspiration comes from itself, I believe it's due to how you feel that day maybe, the emotions are always a great source of inspiration.

Q: Could you give us the details of your current project.
A: We are currently working on "Words To End", our first full-length album, hopefully out for the next spring! I can already say that it's coming out an awesome work, it has all we want to give: power, energy, raw anger and also desperate emotional parts. The album will have 11 tracks and no time to breathe, absolutely a very cool piece for all the fans of the bands listed above!

Q: What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your music?
A: Probably the next thing we're going to do after the recordings will be to look for a good deal with a label, willing to distribute our album internationally. But our real next goal is the goal of every day of our lives: live shows! We are with no doubt a "live band", which means that we give our best on stage, that's why we are already booking an European tour for the next spring, as soon as the album will be hopefully out!

final four (

Q: When the zombies take over the world where will you be?
A: In front line, holding an M-16 and laughing while striking their drilled heads up!

Q: Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?
A: I would say Ninja! Don't know about the other band members! I love to climb houses jumping and killing people in the darkness!

Q: What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture, do you think people must experience before they die?
A: Our next album?

Q: Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?
A: We  are aliens. Yes we are. But you won't believe me indeed, I know.
