How did you get your start in writing?

Two female friends and I started writing erotic paragraphs over the internet and passing them on to the next person to add more. I got caught up in the writing process and ended up writing a book.

who are your biggest influences:

For this particular story, the Marquis de Sade's Juliette.

What is your biggest inspiration when creating?
I u

ed past experiences and allowed my mind to wander into some very dark places…very dark and very sexual. I had to keep telling myself not to pull any punches, but just write what I could see. It's pretty nasty.

Could you give us the details of your current project?

This is taken from the most recent blurb:

The family that s/lays together…

Elizabeth—beautiful, intimidating, and deeply disaffected, she has never felt comfortable in her skin. Not until she meets Celsus, who stirs the embers of her ancient memories into a thirsty fire of self-immolation, self-discovery, and rebirth.

Celsus—a haunted, world-weary lycanthrope who demands total submission of the deadly women who populate his coven. His philosophy—eat to excess, drink to excess, fornicate to excess—gluttony above everything!

The Coven—a group of nihilists sharing a common origin and fate as well as a penchant for sadistic sex and what they consider justifiable homicide, preferably at the same time. Follow them through their 3,800 year journey and relive the hellish history that created their infamous power and eternal curse.

Explore a new world of erotic horror in Randy V's debut novel, Coven of Celsus—Elizabeth.

What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your writing?

I would like to continue the "Coven" series, but I would also like to present another side of myself – the spiritual side. I need balance.

Final four (questions we ask all interviewees)

When the zombies take over the world where will you be?

On an Island, killing the ones that are already there with my shotgun and blowing up any bridges to said Island.

Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?

Oh werewolf for sure (grinning).

What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture, do you think people must experience before they die?

That one is tough, but I think the first six Carlos Casteneda books and Robert Pirsig's two works for sure.-

Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?

My life in general is pretty unbelievable. I was ---- a famous singer back in the hair band days, a soldier in the army, a federal air marshal, an EEOC investigator, a division II fencing champion, a graduate with a BA in Anthropology (two separate honors), and MA in sociology, and a ninth grade drop-out (because I wanted so much to be a rock star). Yep, unbelievable, but totally true…
