Interview questions
How did you get your start in writing?
A combination of boredom and a love of reading. I wrote my first book while sitting at my father's service station after school. It never saw publication, but it paved the way for my determination to learn the craft, polish my talent, and shoot for the stars.

who are your biggest influences:
By far the biggest influence on my writing career has been Francine Pascal who created the popular teen series Sweet Valley High. In my adult years, I've also found authors such as Nora Roberts and Suzanne Brockmann to be large influences.

What is your biggest inspiration when creating?
Inspiration comes from all over the place. I'm not sure I can pin it down to one particular source. I still love to read almost anything I can get my hands on. I also enjoy television from time to time. Life events and a healthy imagination work most to inspire my novels. That and spending time with truly interesting people.

Could you give us the details of your current project?
My latest work in progress is still to new to give you much details. I can tell you it will be a contemporary erotica titled 48 Hour Burn. The hero is a dominant firefighter with the serious hots for a particular sassy heroine. Beyond that, the story is still in the planning stages.
Since I can't give you much more about that one at the moment, why don't I tell you about my latest upcoming release at Total-E-Bound. Stupendously Yours is part of the Christmas Cracker collection being released on December 7, 2009. Tired of mediocre sex, Zoie Qwin is hot for adventure. When she can't find the excitement she craves in the men around town, she reaches across the world to the one man who's ready and capable if not willing to take her hormones on a fanciful journey to Multiple Orgasmville. Zoie Qwin never managed to snag Lieutenant Commander Nash Beagan's sexually daring heart, but Lady Zest in all her erotically written letters has.
Living out her escapades in a pen and paper relationship with her fantasy man proves to be enough, until Nash, home on a short leave, takes the stage at a male Christmas auction. Lady Zest is ready to break the bank for the Christmas present of the millennium, but Zoie wants the wicked desire in Nash's bedroom-blues all for herself. A snack in the parking lot, a drink at the theatre, and a window feast next to the Christmas tree delivers exactly that, until Zoie realises her cover's been blown and Nash is out to make her and Lady Zest stupendously his forever.

What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your writing?
I have two goals in my writing career that never change. The first and most important is to entertain my readers. The second is to make a decent living so I can continue to spend my time working to accomplish the first goal. I write each story with my readers in mind, fully intent on sweeping them away on an adventure of temptation for as long as the story lasts.
Final four (questions we ask all interviewees)

When the zombies take over the world where will you be?
Oh, I'm not worried about that at all. I'll be perfectly safe because I have the Zombie Survival Guide on my bookshelf. It's a great book! I suggest you check it out sometime.

Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?
Can I be a Jedi vampire? I've always been fascinated by vampires. Dark, dangerous, mysterious, oh, and lets not forget immortal. But I would really like to have a purple lightsaber like Mace Windu's. Purple is my favorite color:)

What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture, do you think people must experience before they die?
The Karma Sutra page by gloriously detailed page.

Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?
Hmm, I'm normal. Really, I am. I say that around anyone who knows me and they give me this head cocked to the side, narrow eyed, disbelieving look, but I really am normal. I swear!
