Interview questions

How did you get your start in music?

Originally I begin playing guitar with my cousin as a hobby. That led to some backyard jams with friends and a couple of drunken nights at a bar. After a few two years of messing around I went on to pursue a professional life and give up playing. Around 2002 I thought about working that 9 to 5 everyday for the rest of my life and said, HELL NO! I decided to step back into music in a more productive manner. One month later I had a complete home studio and was writing new songs. I put a demo together to draw some musicians in and the damn thing took off. Sky High, a record company out of New York came across my cd and called me up. They loved the two songs and wanted to hear more. Immediately I wrote more and got a band together, Hellish Hounds was born. The band went on to soaring heights but lost its momentum when we split up in 2008. Over those few years I have gained a full recording studio (LTS Studio) and a broad aspect on the biz. Today I am more determined to write a masterpiece and give the fans the show they desire.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Number one influence is Freddie Mercury. The man was a absolute genius when it came to music. Second would be Metallica. They really inspired me in my metal roots. Last would have to be Iron Maiden. These three bands have never gotten old and always give me a fresh perspective when I get in a musical rut.

What is your biggest inspiration when creating music?

Most of my songs are of heart ach. I think the loss of love is my biggest inspiration.

What is the next goal you would like to achieve with your music?

Not sure. I think I will let the music take me where it wants.

final four questions

When the zombies take over the world where will you be? Riding my chopper throwing back a bottle of JD

Jedi, Ninja, vampire, were-wolf, pirate, fairy or Spartan?
Definitely a Vampire.

What one piece of art, be it music, book, film or picture, do you think people must experience before they die? The desert. This is an art in its self. Go out there, lay in the sand and listen.

Give one fact that most people would not believe about you?
I am a member of Mensa.
